Aberclwyd Manor garden covers four acres on a sloping hillside overlooking the beautiful Upper Clwyd Valley. The garden has many mature trees and shrubs, and in summer there are arches of climbing roses. Fences are also adorned with roses, while a path lined with lavender and Alchemilla mollis leads to a rose swathed gazebo. An Italianate garden of box hedging lies below the house and and an arch of Corylus maxima 'Purpurea' leads to an area rich in grasses and wildflowers. Elsewhere a pond, pots full of lilies, climbers and perennials are also features visitors can enjoy on National Garden Scheme open days.
